The positive effect of fulfilling a wish

In 2015, a scientific study, the first of its kind in the world, was conducted by prof. Anat Shoshani under the direction of Dr. Tal Ben Shahar, from the Interdiscipalinary center Herzliya, who examined the effect of fulfilling a wish for a child with critical illnesses.

The results were outstanding, the study proved that wishes improve the child’s overall health, both mentally and physically.

 

The study has been translated into many languages and is a backbone of Make-A-Wish activities around the world.
